36.25 hours per week – £27,711 – £30,060 per annum
20 hours per week – £15,288 – £16,584 per annum
16 hours per week – £12,231 – £13,267 per annum

We are looking for passionate, energetic and creative Activity Leaders to join our vibrant team. This is more than a job – it’s a chance to inspire healthier lifestyles, build confidence through sport and play and help reduce social isolation in our community.
What you will be doing as an activity leader?
You will deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions, holiday clubs and community activity days for children, young people and targeted adult groups.
Help support and lead on fun social events, mass participation events like the Brun Valley 10k run and on some of our challenging and fun charity fundraising events.
Work across schools and community settings, collaborating with local sports clubs, voluntary groups and other partners to increase participation and break down barriers to access.
Create a positive supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the benefits of being active – improving physical and mental health while having fun.
Who we are looking for:
It is essential you have NGB Sports Coaching qualification at Level 2 or above or be capable and willing to work towards achieving a level 2 coaching qualification.
You must also have a full UK driving licence.
You must have experience of providing sport or play activities in parks or community settings and of taking positive action to overcome barriers to participation.
You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to create a maintain relationships with a diverse range of partners.
Appointment to the post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We have full and part time post available.
