Bistro 197 was originally located across the road from Towneley Golf Club where it quickly became Burnley’s best rated place to eat, renowned for its delicious food and its warm and friendly atmosphere. 

From 1st May 2024, 197 Bistro & Bar is open Wednesday to Friday 9am – 2:30pm and Saturday – Sunday 9am-3:30pm for what is rated one of Lancashire’s best breakfasts, along with a fresh, innovative lunch menu.
