The Boathouse
St Peter’s is a striking building located in the heart of Burnley town centre, housing the local leisure and health facility.
The leisure centre is home to an impressive array of sports and equipment. It features a 25-metre pool and training pool, a gym with top of the range equipment, two glass-back squash courts, a dedicated cycling studio, a newly refurbished fitness studio and two sports halls.
It also boasts a sauna, steam and spa area for relaxation, recuperation and reinvigoration.

Set in beautiful surroundings, Padiham Leisure Centre is one of the jewels in Burnley Leisure’s crown.
As an all-round fitness centre it offers swimming, exercise classes, gym, sauna, indoor cycling studio and many more activities. It also boasts fantastic outdoor facilities for the local community, including tennis courts, cycle greenway route, a 5-a-side football pitch, bowling green and play park area.
Burnley Mechanics Theatre is a magnificent Grade 2 Star listed building opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1987 in order to present the absolute best in entertainment, special events and community activities in the town. Inside you will find a modern, multipurpose venue offering impressive performance spaces, state-of-the art technical facilities and several comfortable and relaxing spaces to drink, dine and meet friends. This historic venue has played host to some of the finest talent ranging from Sir Ian McKellen, The Osmonds, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Lee Nelson, Tim Vine, the stars of Strictly Come Dancing and our fabulous local societies; Burnley Light Opera and Burnley Pantomime Society. The Mechanics is also the number one choice for the areas many superb dance and theatre schools to showcase their emerging talent.

The stunning surroundings of Towneley Golf Club take some beating. Set within the beautiful mature woodlands and grounds of Towneley Park, Burnley, there are a range of challenging and fun-filled facilities for everyone. From an 18-hole course for more seasoned golfers, to a hidden gem of an 18 hole par 3 Pitch & Putt, a 9 hole golf course and 18 hole Footgolf course. We also have a well-stocked golf shop, a function room and our 197 Bistro & Bar is perfect for refreshments and socialising – even if you’re not there to play you’re still very welcome!

Welcome to our £2.5 million facility designed to offer a premier sporting experience to all. Our impressive complex is home to Burnley’s first purpose-built golf driving range. You’ll also find a PGA professional golf academy at Prairie Sports village alongside two FA approved 3G floodlit football pitches, mini golf and short game practice area. But it’s not all action-packed – relax, dine and soak up the Pendle Hill views or catch up on Sky Sports in our 1955 Kitchen & Bar.
