Community impact

Programmes & schemes we run in the local community

Every penny we make gets re-invested back into Burnley, helping to support projects including stroke and cardiac rehabilitation, providing swimming lessons for children and supporting education and physical activity programs in schools.

Our community programmes such as Up and Active, Get in2, and Active Streets aim to increase participation and improve physical and mental health; running cardiac rehabilitation, smoking cessation and weight management programmes along with delivering sport and physical activity sessions in schools, and youth provision across the community through our varied project work.

We create investment into facilities and programmes, through grants and other funding streams which in turn deliver valuable health, social and economic outcomes for the town, strengthening communities and transforming lives.
