We are seeking an exceptional Leisure & Sports Operations Manager to take a strategic leadership role in overseeing and enhancing BLC’s multi-site leisure facilities. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced professional to shape, drive and implement innovative sports and aquatic programmes, optimise operational efficiency, and lead high-performing teams to deliver outstanding services to our community.
As a key member of Burnley Leisure and Culture’s senior management team, you will be responsible for delivering on the trusts business objectives, ensuring the highest standards of service, and maximising revenue growth. Your ability to provide commercial insight, develop pricing strategies, and implement targeted marketing campaigns will be critical to driving participation and financial success across all venues. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, overseeing facility management, and leading sustainability initiatives in alignment with BLC’s commitment to carbon reduction and environmental responsibility.
We are looking for a dynamic professional with significant experience in strategic leadership, multi-site leisure operations, and staff development. A proven track record of managing large teams, delivering financial and operational success, and working in collaboration with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers will be essential. Working alongside our Leisure Commercial & Development Manager and Leisure & Fitness Operations Manager, you will have strong business acumen, the ability to implement innovative service delivery models, and the leadership qualities required to inspire and motivate teams.
