Towneley 18 hole course
Set in the heart of East Lancashire, this 18 hole municipal course is an excellent test of golf and an enjoyable day out. It was originally established in 1932 as 9 hole layout, but was later expanded to the current 5834 yard, par 70 course. Set in mature parkland, Towneley is a good test of golf despite its short length. Featuring mature trees and some well placed ditches, this popular course provides a challenge to golfers at any skill level.
