A charity operated by Burnley Leisure Trust, Burnley Mechanics is a modern multipurpose, fully accessible venue to hire, equipped with retractable / removable seating, state of the art lighting, excellent sound facilities, two bars, two performance venues, a Basement Studio, Bistro and meeting rooms.
This magnificent grade two listed venue was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1986 to present the very best in entertainment, special events and activities. Since that time the Mechanics have hosted some of the world’s finest talent from all realms of the performing arts including The Osmonds, Toploader, Patty Smith, Marillion, Buddy Guy, G4, Eddie Izzard, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Lee Nelson, Hull Truck Theatre, fabulous family shows and many more.
