Have You Got Your Running Shoes Laced Up?
We’re thrilled to offer a limited number of ballot places for the iconic TCS London Marathon – taking place on Sunday 25th April 2027 – to passionate fundraisers ready to support Burnley Leisure and Culture. This is your chance to take on one of the world’s most famous races while making a meaningful difference for your community.

Why Run for Burnley Leisure and Culture?
We’re a not-for-profit organisation, which means all our surplus operating revenue is reinvested in our facilities and services to support communities across the borough. In addition, we run vital community initiatives and services that require funding to enable us to run them.
We support a wide range of initiatives in sport, arts, wellbeing, and community engagement across Burnley, so by running for BLC, you’ll help us to:
– Improve physical and mental health in our community
– Support youth and outreach programmes
– Enhance local cultural and creative experiences
– Keep our initiatives thriving and inclusive
The Fundraising Opportunity
We are offering a limited number of ballot entry places to fundraisers who are committed to raising a minimum of £1,500 for BLC.
Important – Fundraising Commitment
To ensure we can support as many community programmes as possible, we have put the following criteria in place:
– You agree to make every reasonable effort to meet the agreed fundraising target of £1,500 if your ballot application is successful
– Progress will be monitored, and if there is no clear effort to fundraise or engage with the campaign, we reserve the right to withdraw and reallocate your place to another participant
