When attending a pool session with your children please make sure children under eight are accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, with a maximum of two children per adult

Yes. We have Ladies only, female only and male only sessions available at Padiham Leisure Centre and St Peters Leisure Centre. Please see the timetables for more information.

Children aged 8 and over can attend the pool on their own. To attend a session in the main pool and swim in deeper water they need to be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres confidently. If a lifeguard has any concerns, they may ask them to complete a short swim test or stay behind the non-swimmer line for safety.

Yes. Children who are Swim Academy members receive unlimited access to public swimming to support practicing of skills learned in lessons. Accompanying parent/guardian must pay for their public swim.

The most suitable sessions for people with long-term health conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, joint replacements, or mental health conditions, are part of our Water Wellbeing programme. This is a growing programme, so look out for new sessions like Aqua Relax and Good Boost.
