WHAT TO EXPECT AT at the Mechanics Bistro
Located in Burnley town centre, the Mechanics Bistro is open for lunch and pre-theatre dining. Take a seat and relax in the cosy, intimate Lounge bar or soak up the atmosphere in the more modern Front Room.
Burnley Mechanics Theatre is an accessible building with a ramp at the entrance and an accessible toilet available on each level. There is a lift located on the ground floor which provides access to all levels.
There is a pay and display located at the rear of the building which also has disabled parking bays.
You can book a table using ResDiary, simply select the time and date you want. Scroll down to make a booking.

For groups of 8 or more, we do require a pre-order at least 48 hours prior to your booking. You can still book a table online but please note that a pre-order is required.
A pre-show meal is the perfect start to a great theatre experience; enjoy our special evening menu and relax with a few drinks, before taking your seat in the auditorium to be thoroughly entertained. Pre-theatre dining is available two hours prior to most performances.

Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens, and while we take care to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee any dish is completely allergen-free. Nuts or traces of nuts may be present. An allergen guide is available on request.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes, dogs are welcome in upstairs in the Bistro. We allow guide dogs up and down stairs.
We stop serving food at 2:30pm, however cater for private dining events.
Our bistro is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 2:30 pm (last orders at 2:15pm).
