Welcome to Towneley Golf; our golfing and hospitality community hub in the heart of Towneley Park where we offer premier golf facilities & hospitality experience to all.

Towneley Golf Course is located on Todmorden Road in Burnley. The entrance to the car park is on a blind bend, so please drive slowly as there are often pedestrians nearby.
The car park is free for all golfers to use, and you don’t need to pay & display. However, you must enter your car registration into the tablet in the golf shop, please make sure you do this to avoid a parking fine.
On arrival, please sign in at the golf shop, ideally 20 minutes prior to your tee time, where our friendly staff will welcome you. If you have not paid your green fees in advance, payment will be due prior to your round. We do ask that all players try to arrive in good time to avoid any backlogs on the course.
Green fees start from £19 per player. If you are unable to make your tee time, we do ask that you cancel via phone or email.
Changing rooms are available in the clubhouse and the code for the doors will be available from the golf shop staff. Please note that we don’t have toilet facilities on the course.
We have four PowaKaddy golf trolleys with GPS, for hire at a cost of £10. These can be pre-booked by contacting the golf shop. Please note, we don’t hire out golf clubs for the 18-hole course.
We have a fully stocked golf shop and have a wide range of items, including Adidas Golf, Srixon, FootJoy, Titleist, and more – you might even find a great ‘product of the month’ special offer on!
All practice facilities are free to use. We have two practice nets, a putting green near the 1st tee and a short game area with bunker, which is located down the side of the 18th hole. Please note that golf balls are not provided.

What does Towneley Golf Course offer?
Everybody is welcome at Towneley Golf Course, during quiet periods it is possible to turn up and play. We do strongly suggest that you book either online, by phone or in person as the golf course does get busy (especially in the summer months)
At Towneley Golf Course, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all golfers. To support this, we do not have a formal dress code. Although golf shoes are recommended for comfort and performance, trainers are also acceptable. For the protection of the course, particularly the greens, work boots, and cricket shoes are not permitted.
You can book a tee time up to 7 days in advance. The tee sheet goes live at midnight
Yes, memberships provide unlimited play, priority tee times, and special discounts in the pro shop and restaurant.
