From 1st June, the swimming pool and wet facilities at Padiham Leisure Centre will be temporarily closed for approximately four weeks to allow for essential improvement works

These upgrades are focused on maintaining high standards across the centre and enhancing the overall experience for our customers. We’ve planned the works carefully to ensure the closure period is kept as short as possible, helping to minimise disruption to your routine and works will include essential maintenance to pool systems, improvements to changing and shower areas, and upgrades to accessibility features.

We understand this may be inconvenient and appreciate your patience while these improvements are carried out.

Alternative Swimming Options

Customers are welcome to continue swimming at Burnley Leisure’s pools at St Peter’s Leisure Centre, which will be available throughout the closure. This can be used alongside access to other facilities within the Active Network scheme.

Swim Academy & School Lessons

All Swim Academy sessions and school swimming lessons will be temporarily relocated to St Peter’s Leisure Centre. Customers and schools will be contacted directly with full details, including any updated times or arrangements.

Active Network Access

Members (Anytime, Corporate, Couples, or Student memberships) can also make use of other leisure centres swimming pools within the Active Network during this period. For more information, please speak to a team member or read more about the Active Network.

We’re committed to providing a safe, accessible, and high-quality environment for all our customers, and we’re carrying out these important improvements to reduce our carbon impact and ensuring the long-term future of the pool and for our community.

We’d like to thank you for your understanding and continued support.
