From grassroots programmes supporting young people, developing skills, improving wellbeing and supporting employability, to growing our existing festival and events programme and introducing major new showcases, Burnley 2027 is about involving the people of Burnley in shaping what they want their Year of Culture to be.

The Culture Makers are a team of volunteers from across Burnley and Padiham who are passionate about their home and who are supporting the development of cultural activities and events in neighbourhoods.
