The Simply Classic Bistro and Bar at Burnley Mechanics has opened its doors to the public at the beginning of June and is offering tasty lunch and pre-theatre dining.
Located in the new lounge bar and front room areas of the venue, the bistro boasts a relaxed and informal dining experience with all food freshly prepared on site by a team of chefs.
Mark Dempsey, hospitality and catering manager at Burnley Leisure, said: “We are very pleased with the growing popularity of the new bistro and the positive feedback we’ve been receiving.
“The bistro is a great addition to the town and features a tasty menu with classic British favourites such as handmade pies, stuffed potatoes, burgers and, of course, fish and chips.
“With many mouth-watering dishes to choose from, why not come and see for yourself what’s on offer.”
The bistro is open Monday to Friday 11am-3pm and two hours before most performances.
Simply Classic Bistro and Bar comes about after a unique partnership between Burnley Leisure and Simply Classic, which runs already a successful bistro at Shuttleworth Mead Business Park.
The two organisations are extending their already strong relationship after working closely together over the last five years in developing the area’s leading banqueting business.
The partnership will see Burnley Mechanics operate the bars and Simply Classic run the kitchen providing great home-cooked food.
Another ‘Simply’ bistro is also set to open at the highly anticipated Prairie Sports Village scheduled to open later this year.
