Couch to 5k is BACK on 6th September 2022!

Get into running with our Couch to 5K sessions.

Did you know that regular running can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and strokes, boost you mood and keep your weight under control?

Our Couch to 5K course is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5K or for half an hour. The running programme is developed to help absolute beginners get into running.

All you need to do is grab your running trainers and turn up, we recommend you attend all 3 sessions to really feel the benefit of the programme but don’t worry if you can’t, just try and attend as many as you can.

The programme is lead by volunteers over at Burnley Athletics Club an ex-Couch to 5K graduates, who know exactly how you feel as they were once in your shoes.
